Editing Customer Notification Messages

There 3 different ways the Shopify and Restaurant Alert + Deliver system sends notifications to your customers: via SMS, Email, or Facebook Chat!

You can edit the messages sent to your customers, for a more personalized customer experience. Here’s how to do so:


Editing SMS Messages

Step 1

Log in your Shopify Store and go to Settings > Notifications.

Step 2

Click on the notification template that you would like to edit.

Step 3

Click SMS to view the SMS template for the notification.

Step 4

Personalize your message! When you’re done, click Save.

Editing Email Messages

Step 1

Log in your Shopify Store and go to Settings > Notifications.

Step 2

Click on the notification template that you would like to edit.

Step 3

Click Email to view the Email template for the notification.

Step 4

Personalize your message! When you’re done, click Save.

Editing Facebook Chat Messages

Step 1

Log in your Shopify Store and go to Online Store > Messenger

⚠️ This requires that your Facebook Chatbot has been activated as an additional channel. This can be done through your Shopify store. You can read more on how to set this up here.

Step 2

Go to Customer Order Updates and click Enable, if you have not yet enabled this feature.

Step 3

Scroll down to the Auto message templates section and under Order updates, click the template you would like to edit.

Step 4

Personalize your message! When you’re done, click Save.
