Accommodating COD Orders via GrabExpress

How does GrabExpress handle Cash On Delivery?

⚠️ In order to book on-demand couriers within the In-Store Merchant App, Delivery Integration with your chosen on-demand courier must already be set up within Restaurant Alert + Deliver Shopify App on your Shopify Store.

⚠️ There is a P1,500 maximum transaction amount limit for COD orders. If the transaction is over the limit, please check with your rider if they can accommodate the order.

⚠️ Cash On Delivery orders with GrabExpress have a higher delivery rate than regular transactions. These fees will be determined upon setting up of your integration with GrabExpress.

After your COD order has been accepted, a rider has been booked, and the rider is now at the store to pick up the order for delivery, this is the COD process that the GrabExpress rider will follow:

Step 1

If the transaction amount is more than P1,500, click View Rider Booking Details and contact your rider via their provided mobile number. Confirm with your rider if they can accommodate the COD order amount.

If the transaction amount is below P1,500, you may proceed to the next step.

Step 2

Dispatch the food order to the rider once the rider has arrived at your store location, and the rider will give the COD amount to your staff before leaving your store.

Step 3

Your rider will then deliver the order to the customer and receive the cash payment from the customer.
