Cancelling a booking of a rider from GrabExpress or MrSpeedy (now known as Borzo) with the In-Store Merchant App

⚠️ In order to book on-demand couriers within the In-Store Merchant App, Delivery Integration with your chosen on-demand courier must already be set up within Restaurant Alert + Deliver Shopify App on your Shopify Store.

ℹ️ FAQ: What if it is the rider who cancels the booking?

Answer: If the rider cancels the booking, our In-Store Merchant App will attempt to auto-book for another rider up to three times or for 10 minutes at the maximum. We recommend quickly checking on the booking every 5-10 minutes or try rebooking.

There are a few reasons why you’d need to cancel an already-booked rider. It happens! This is what you need to do in these situations:

Step 1

Tap on View Rider Booking Details to see all the information about the booked rider and the option to cancel.

Step 2

Tap Cancel Rider.

Step 3

Tap OK on the confirmation window to proceed.

ℹ️ In some cases, you might find yourself needing to contact the rider to coordinate a few details with them. This might reduce the need to cancel a booked rider. Read more on how to do so here.
