Our In-Store Merchant App sends instant alerts that should both be seen on your device screen and have a ringing sound.
If new orders come in and you don't see this instant alert, this is usually because it's being blocked by a certain setting. Here are the settings to check on:
1. Enable the In-Store Merchant App Notification Settings.
On your device's In-Store Merchant App, tap on the menu icon found on the upper lefthand corner of the screen.
Tap on Settings.
Turn on the Notification setting to receive full-page alerts.
If your Draw Over Apps setting hasn't been enabled yet, you will receive a pop-up prompt to do so, leading you to your device's App Settings. Tap on the App Settings button and enable the In-Store Merchant App to draw over other apps.

2. Enable Notifications for the In-Store Merchant App through your device's App Settings.
Go to Security Center > Privacy permissions > App permission management.
From the list of permissions, tap Notifications.
Tap the ZAP E-Store Merchant App and tap Allow Notifications.
3. Enable Draw Over Apps or App to Appear On Top through your device's App Settings.
Go to Security Center > Privacy permissions > App permission management.
From the list of permissions, tap Notifications.
Tap the ZAP E-Store Merchant App and tap Allow.
Other things you can do to troubleshoot the instant alert:
Go to Settings > Battery. Tap on Others.
Select the ZAP E-Store Merchant App and turn OFF the Freeze when in Background and Automatically optimize when an anomaly is detected functions.

2. Enable Notifications for the In-Store Merchant App through your device's App Settings.
Go to Settings > App Management > App List
Within your list of apps, select the ZAP E-Store Merchant App.
Within the App Info, tap Manage Notifications.
Toggle the option to Allow Notifications for the ZAP E-Store Merchant App.
3. Enable Draw Over Apps or App to Appear On Top through your device's App Settings.
Go to Settings > App Management > Display over other apps.
Look for the ZAP E-Store Merchant App and toggle the option to enable this function.
Other things you can do to troubleshoot the instant alert:
Go to Settings > Battery > Custom Power Saver.
Select ZAP E-Store Merchant App.
Turn ON Run in Background. This will allow the In-Store Merchant App to be active even when the phone is idle or has another application in front.

Go to Phone Manager > Privacy permissions > Permission manager.
From the list of permissions tap Notifications.
Toggle to Allow Notifications for the selected app.
3. Enable Draw Over Apps or App to Appear On Top through your device's App Settings.
Go to Phone Manager > Privacy permissions > Permission manager.
From the list of permissions tap Notifications.
Tap the ZAP E-Store Merchant App and tap Allow.
Other things you can do to troubleshoot the instant alert:
Go to Settings > Battery > Energy Saver.
Select ZAP E-Store Merchant App.
Turn OFF Background Freeze, Abnormal Apps Optimization and Doze. This will allow the In-Store Merchant App to be active even when the phone is idle or has another application in front.
